Sports Injuries

We treat recreational athletes who have sustained sports injuries such as sprains, strains and fractures.

Our goal is to determine the cause of your injury, reduce pain and inflammation and hasten the healing process. We include a significant educational component so that you can be aware what happened and why, and how you can prevent a recurrence of the injury.

We also offer sport-specific therapy training to help prepare you for the season of the sport of your choice if you have not been staying fit in the off months. This helps to avoid common injuries such as golfer’s shoulder, tennis elbow and runner’s knees, for example.

If you require surgery after a sports injury, we can work with you before surgery and afterwards to help speed healing and ensure a full recovery.
