Frank V. Hatch, PT, DPT, MBA, GCFP
Frank Hatch is distinguished as much for his unique approach to patient care as he is as a highly-qualified and expertly trained physical therapist.
“I try to figure out what people fear their pain will keep them from doing,” explains the experienced health professional many of his patients fondly refer to as “Mountain Man” because of his love of sports and adventure in the outdoors of New Mexico.
“By knowing what they most fear they can’t do, I know what is important to them and it helps me to get them to the next level as they progress with their therapy,” he explains.
The way he looks at it, he solves problems as well as stops the pain. It allows him to be partners in care in the treatment and recovery of his patients.
Frank is a consummate learner and continues to nourish his therapeutic skills by staying up to date on best evidence practices and intuitive based healing.
He specialized in pediatrics for the first 15 years of his career with a focus on developmental support.
He has certifications in Neuro-Developmental Treatment Pediatrics, the Feldenkrais MethodTR , Functional Movement Systems, and in Dry Needling.
In 2010, he began pursuing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy, which he achieved, specializing in orthopedics and musculoskeletal management through Evidence in Motion Institute of Health Professionals.
Currently he is working on his Certification in Functional Manual Therapy through the Institute of Physical Art.
He also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy, and certifications in aquatic therapy and neuor-developmental treatment as well as a Master’s of Business Administration in Health Care Management.
When he is not working, Frank loves spending time with his family and friends in the great outdoors. He likes fishing, mountain biking, skiing, supping and trail running.
Frank is an “E” licensed soccer coach and loves to work with area youth on all sports.
He has volunteered with the Adaptive Sports Program (Skiing and Water Sports), hippotherapy and youth soccer.
